Nasrallah: Attempts to Reactivate Govt. were Foiled for Personal, Partisan Reasons

W460

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah lamented Wednesday the collapse of efforts aimed at reactivating the work of the paralyzed government, warning of a “more complicated situation” ahead.

“All attempts to revive the government were foiled for personal and partisan reasons, which clearly means that we will face a more complicated situation,” said Nasrallah in a televised address marking the first night of the Ashura religious commemorations.

“Those who torpedoed the solutions will realize that they have committed a big mistake,” he added.

The Hizbullah chief cited “the paralysis of the institutions, the continued abduction of the servicemen, the social crises and the garbage crisis.”

He, however, highlighted “the stable security situation and the ongoing dialogue” as “two positivities.”

The cabinet is expected to convene on Friday to adopt Agriculture Minister Akram Shehayyeb's waste disposal plan, reported the daily al-Mustaqbal on Wednesday.

Ministerial sources said: “The session will be its last due to the obstruction of the Free Patriotic Movement.”

Change and Reform bloc chief MP Michel Aoun stated on Tuesday that his ministers will not attend the session due to his objection to the failure to tackle the contentious issue of security and military promotions and appointments.

Other sources meanwhile told al-Mustaqbal that Hizbullah Ministers Mohammed Fneish and Hussein al-Hajj Hassan are expected to attend Friday's session.

Turning to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Nasrallah said Hizbullah supports “the Palestinian people's resistance against the Israeli enemy in all its forms.”

“We're witnessing a strong popular movement in occupied Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in what resembles the beginning of a third intifada,” he added.

The upsurge in violence that began on October 1 has led some to warn of the risk of a third Palestinian intifada, or uprising.

At least 30 Palestinians have been killed, including alleged knife attackers, some of them teenagers. Hundreds more have been wounded in clashes with Israeli security forces.

On the Israeli side seven have been killed and dozens wounded in the attacks.

The python strangling the Lebanese state institutions sheds crocodile tears for his victim. This is the appearance of things. Actually Hezbollah has usurped the Lebanese State Institutions, this is the Hezbollah regime we are witnessing in Lebanon and the Lebanese Army and ISF should assume their responsibilities and rise up against the usurpers. Enough of this Aoun FPM charade. Everyone knows for whom the monkey Aoun acts.

Nasrallah's: "Attempts to re activate get were foiled for personal reasons".
I agree with you and add " for personal and FAMILY REASONS"
I hope you and Aoun think deeply at this because you never tried to re activate the government as all of your aim is to destabilise and destruct the gvt. It is suitable for your Iranian agenda but what about the blind and deaf Aoun? He is simply facilitating your task giving you a so called Christian cover.

What Sayed Hassan is saying is simple, that in life demotions do happen to people, in his case, Sayed Hassan got demoted from the post of God, to the post of daydreamer, Russia now is his one single biggest hope, yet a hope that will translate only for the benefit of Russia's interests.
