The Internal Security Forces on Sunday announced seizing more than 35 kilograms of Captagon narcotic pills at Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport.

“Following a thorough search operation on Saturday, the inspection unit at RHIA managed to make a new achievement through foiling an attempt to smuggle 200,500 Captagon pills weighing around 35.6 kilograms,” the ISF said in a statement.

The pills were hidden in “39 coffee packets and covered with some sweets inside four suitcases.”

Syrian travelers A. A., 25, and M. A., 22, intended to smuggle them to an Arab Gulf country, the ISF added.

The two Syrians were arrested as the confiscated material was referred to the Central Anti-Drug Bureau for further investigations.

Well they can thank God that they got arrested in Lebanon because in the Gulf they would have been decapitated as soon as they opened their bags

Thumb _mowaten_ 19 October 2015, 14:29

they never get arrested there if you noticed, it's always here on departure, never there on arrival, though there evidently must be great quantities getting through. why do you think? i guess terrorist will say that "Syrian Regime Loyalists" have special relations with gulf countries, that let them get through customs without trouble..

Thumb _mowaten_ 19 October 2015, 00:41

lol yea sure, because regime loyalists spend their time going and coming from gulf countries. what a goof

Thumb _mowaten_ 19 October 2015, 00:42

these aren't hidden in coffee bags, they come in plain sight, because there is nothing illegal about them.

terrorist, you are ahlul wahabi, so stop acting like a victim.
There is a difference between good normal muslims, and you wahabis.

Syrians refugees hopeless destitute and willing to do anything to feed their families were tasked by Hajj Abdullatif Fneish brother of Minister Mohammad Fneish to deliver the drug to a Lebanese Shiite expat not deported yet from an Arab gulf country for supporting terrorist group Hezbollah financially in an Arab gulf country... but they were caught on time, the ones who were waiting the merchandise are now a bit disappointed with their confidant! But as Hajj Abdullatif Fneish always says to his distributors, "there's more where that came from".

Thumb _mowaten_ 19 October 2015, 19:15

but i thought they controlled the airport and the customs? you swore it was the case. so they hired them to transport the drugs to their gulfy friends and then arrest them? you are true to your name, mister farsical.

Thumb farsical.resistance 19 October 2015, 19:40

Of course they control the airport and the customs, but as in the previous time, once in a while an honest customs agent happens to be on shift and catches it. What did you think that bearded sewer chimp in the black turban has a magic eight ball head all knowing all seeing? You are really naive my friend. Besides, even if the customs agent was a crooked Hezbollah agent why would he let this shipment get through? After all the last time Hajj Abdullatif Fneish's Captagon was caught, his brother Minister Mohammad Fneish and the rest of Hezbollah medias, officials you ladies here swore up and down the party had nothing to to with it. Now run along have a pint of Tatbeer, my treat, cheers!
