State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged on Tuesday six people with executing soldier Mohammed Hamieh in September 2014.

Detainee Ali al-Lakkis, who was arrested last week, is among the accused.

The remaining suspects are at large.

Saqr also charged them with belonging to the al-Qaida-affiliated al-Nusra Front.

Hamieh was among 35 serviceman who were abducted by al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State group in the wake of clashes with the army in the northeastern border town of Arsal in August 2014.

Nineteen soldiers were killed in the fighting.

Since their abduction, four serviceman were executed by their captors.

The Nusra Front on Tuesday released all 16 of its captives, while the rest remain held by the IS.

Lakkis was arrested at Rafik Hariri International Airport on November 27 as he attempted to leave the country through a fake Syrian passport.

2 hours ago Ibrahim: We are ready to negotiate with the Islamic State.

so why haven't you negotiated until now? did you just get your marching orders from hizballah?

Thumb _mowaten_ 01 December 2015, 14:48

saudi.takfiri: he said "We are ready to hold negotiations with the IS to release the captives if someone on their end voices readiness to do so"

better talk to your da3eshit friends instead of slandering randomly.

@mowaten E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. Still laughing since the day you declared with a straight face you were a shiaa atheist and also a member of hezbollah with only one account. I think i will also continue to laugh at your statement "instead of slandering randomly ". Thank you Thank you

I bet hezbollah is waiting for ISIS or Nusra to initiate contact to start negotiating the release of the 3 Hezbollah terrorists captured in Aleppo.

Thumb _mowaten_ 01 December 2015, 17:10

you guys kept claiming without any basis that hezbollah was preventing the negotiations with nusra. now that the soldiers are freed, are you going to thank hezbollah for having allowed it? just to try to be consistent in your lies

44 minutes ago NNA: Israeli warplanes fly at a high altitude over the southern areas of Marjayoun.

Ouch.... I told everybody yesterday that even Israel cannot fly over Lebanon anymore because of the mighty Russian S400. I feel really stupid...... as usual.

As a Shia follower of Khomeini I will forgive & pray for those who insult my Lords, Sayyid Hassan Nassrallah and Sheikh Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

Pyjama, why bring silly Lebanese politics into it? Your comment only contributes to the divide and conquer concept... why cant this be a good day for all Lebanese?

Thumb ado.australia 01 December 2015, 16:29

Without Qatar's cash, they would never had been able to afford the capture! These LAF soldiers and ISF (Internal Security Forces) aka Police... would never had been attacked and captured in the first place! What did the LAF or Lebanese security forces do that caused or warranted a blind and unprovoked attack on Lebanese soil? In a village that has opened their homes to Syrian refugees and rebels without question! Only Japan in their attack at Pearl Harbour have been more treacherous!

Thumb ado.australia 01 December 2015, 17:18

tex, what ever hezbollah did in syria months after the LAF and ISF were captured in Arsel is not relevant! The LAF and ISF were not involved and the 2 prisoners beheaded by Al nusra and ISIS did not deserve or can be justified.
