Two Nuns Killed, Third Wounded in Separate Car Accidents

Three people were killed and fourth critically wounded in various car accidents in Lebanon on Tuesday, reported the National News Agency.

In the town of al-Barbara in the Batroun, a car, driven by Sister Zakia Haddad overturned, killing her instantly.

In the area of al-Maameltein, a Toyota transporting two sisters in the nearby Batha orphanage was also overturned.

One nun was immediately killed, while the other was transferred to hospital where she is in a very critical condition.

In another separate incident, a citizen in his 60s was hit by a car along the coastal road north of Beirut.

He was killed instantly and his corpse was transferred to Mar Youssef Hospital where he is set to be identified because he did not carry any identification cards.

The car driver has meanwhile handed himself over to the authorities.

Stupid Lebanese people still dont know how to wear seatbelts or safety helments on bikes. They STUPIDLY think airbags will save them when if that had any intelligence would relaise airbags are a SUPPLUMENTARY to seat bealts and must be used together.
