Nasrallah-Shahristani Meeting Highlights Latest Developments

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met with Jawad al-Shahristani the official representative of Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday.

Discussions have focused on the “situation in Lebanon and the region including the latest developments at the religious and political levels,” NNA said.

Reports have said that Nasrallah was tasked by Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with carrying out a reconciliation in Beirut between Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, al-Shahristani, and an envoy from former Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who were on a visit to Lebanon.

On Friday, reports said that Nasrallah has met with al-Sadr in Beirut in an effort to resolve the inter-Shiite conflict in the Arab country.

But the reports were slammed as untrue on Saturday when Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) quoted sources close to al-Sadr who denied the above.

Being tasked by authorities in Iran to resolve an inter-Shiite dispute! The de facto leader of Lebanon is just a functionary of the Iranian government making Lebanon a western outpost of the Iranian regime. It happened slowly and gradually, but here we are with the de facto head of Lebanon a loyal lieutenant of his homeland, Iran. Where is your pride, Lebanon? Where is your "fierce independence"? Just like your young women who give it up daily and nightly at hourly rates, you have prostituted your land to foreigners. You have given away virtue and once given away, it does not come back.

Maliki is an Iranian stooge, and a power-hungry sectarian. He is no longer the Prime Minister of Iraq. Maliki's sole purpose is to cause vacuum and chaos in Iraq, under orders of wally al faqi, unless the Iranian stooges get complete control of the government.

Nasrallah is not an elected official of Lebanon or Iraq. His orders under wally al faqi is to cause vaccum and chaos in Lebanon, unless Iranian stooges get complete control of Lebanon.

Ayatollah is the theocratic dictator of Iran, not Iraq. His minions are fighting for shia sectarian control in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and elsewhere.

Why are any of these mf-ers involved? It's a religious war for them, and they won't stop unless they have complete control.

Religious clerics need to be removed from politics.

This outlaw, this terrorist, this evil sectarian should be arrested and tried for treason.

"Nasrallah was tasked by Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ".... The law is quite clear regarding the definition of treason. When someone claiming to be Lebanese is tasked by a foreign leader it is treason.

The day this iranian sectarian terrorist is brutally murdered is the day we celebrate our independence.
