March 14 Preparing for Plan to Tackle Hizbullah after Demise of Syrian Regime

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

The March 14 forces are preparing a document to tackle Hizbullah’s presence in Lebanon after the fall of the Syrian regime, reported Akhbar al-Yawm news agency on Thursday.

March 14 sources told the news agency that the forces are preparing for a Hizbullah that has laid down its arms, adding that their line of action will become clearer after Sunday’s Mustaqbal movement rally in Tripoli.

Among the ideas being addressed is punishing the party for its transgressions, while others have proposed that all sides let go of the past and start a new chapter of relations with the group.

The sources noted that some sides believe that Hizbullah will transform into a terrorist organization, based on the international law’s definition of such groups and not Lebanon’s views, in light of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s accusation of four party members of being involved in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Therefore, one of the upcoming dilemmas Lebanon may have to face is the existence of a Lebanese government that includes members of a terrorist organization among its ranks, continued the sources.

The March 14 camp is seeking to study these issues, among others, within a document in an effort to reach answers to all pending issues, said the sources.

Stop the political culture of corruption and stop all terrorists and the war criminals from deciding the future of the country.

One would thinks that Field General Fares Soaid and Adjudant Colonel H=Johnny Abdo would have had a plan in place already! But then these careful planners like to take their time to ensure a successful execution, as their successful track record has proven to be.

Hizbollah should be banned

Shiaa deserve better representation, failing to do so the lebanese government should dehisbullah them like the allied denazified Germany after WW2

After ASSad falls, the law does not say the Hezz must be represented, only that the Shia are represented. If "Free Shia" members of Lebanon win seats......too bad.

In my estimation after the fall of ASSad and the severe weakening of the Hezz, many of the Shia who do not support the Hezz will not be afraid to run for elections, where now they are threatened by the Hezz.

I say start the "Free Shia" movement in Lebanon on Sunday too. An anti-Hezz, anti-Amal Shia party is one of the essential elements needed in Lebanon.

There's no doubt that the march 14 will be the sole benefactor from the collapse of the Syrian regime; and hence it should commence its plan of a change over after the regime is over. The matter here is not whether the regime in Syria will collapse but when is going to happen and how much benefit the lebanese side will get and who would be the dominating force in lebanon after Huzbullah shrinks in clout and power. I guess Saad Harriri would be the major benefactor as well as lebanon since Saad wznts what's best for Lebanon. the Christians would surge and the country would be put on the road to recovery and preponderance.

I can't wait to see what will happen when the Syrian regime is over.

mowaten: it is not being an american puppy to fight against a political party which gets stronger than the national army! in which country have you seen that????
hezb pledge allegiance to iran and not to lebanon...
fighting against its arms is fighting to implement a strong gvt where only the army and police have the rights to carry weapons! it is fighting for a country where the state has all powers on every part of its land!
you find that normal that in a civilised state a party threatens its citizens by the use of their arms against them? where the army cannot enter their controlled zones if they decide to?
or you are for the law of the strongest and the jungle and certainly not for a strong state in which everyone obeys the SAME law....
and and let me remind you what aoun said in front of the US senate: "there is no shame in asking the help of the americans..."
it makes the hezb allied to an american puppet then!

M14 is preparing a "document". WOW...this will change everything. Just as long M14 is allied with the Saudi king/US (Israel) they will not be successful in anything and will never ever have the support of the majority of Lebanese (M14 NEVER received a majority of popular votes including when miqati, junblat, and others were in M14)

Leblover, I knew many comrades who were killed in Mina and Tripoli in the 80's when the Tawheed took over Tripoli by massacring 64 members of the LCP. During those years women had their dresses sprayed on with Acid and only with the help of the Syrian Army, the Salafists were defeated. Most of you M14 Christians never got near Tripoli for many years. History just repeats itself with new actors.

mowaten: pledging allegiance is totally different from being an ally!

when you pledge allegiance it means you OBEY to the country whereas being ally you do not neccessarily obey your ally! that is the main difference...
so when hezb obeys a foreign country instead of its state it is a treason...

then you said that the M14 government declared war to the hezb: this means that you think a political party does not have to OBEY the state if it disagrees!
don t ALL political parties have to obey the laws made by the state?
are there citizens above the law? come on!
it also means that you consider the hezb to be an independant state that has nothing to do with the state of lebanon! you declare war to a state not a party !
plus may i remind you that the hezb made a fatwa against ANY shia who wanted to replace the resigning ministers.. and also these so called ministers continued to go to work, this is the hypocrisy of the hezb..
nothing was illegal as you say!

@mowaten
"When did they ever do something for Iran against Lebanon's interest?"

For one, they are keeping their weapons. This is not doing us any good. It is only a way for Iran to threaten Israel. Remember Ahmadinejad said " The Iranian border stops in South Lebanon" Right?
They have absolutely no need for those weapons who are only a threat for Lebanese cityzens.
Yes, I can see that the May 7th events are an expression of this fact, and that you (poorly really) try to justify it, which is quite scandalous and shall not be forgotten by many.
Hezbollah weapons behind the Litani river serve ONLY the Syro-Iranian purpose. Too bad you cannot see that. Or else, tell me what purpose they have served since the "DIVINE (quite ridiculous term indeed) Victory!??
Irael is OUT! The only thing that can bring them back is your dear Hezbollah...Fact! Without Hezbollah, Israel is no threat! Understand that!

Thumb geha 25 November 2011, 16:01

what is the difference between the weapons of palestinians in the past and those of hizbushaitan now?
they were and are both a state in the state.
moreover, hizbushaitan follows iran blindly as demonstrated by all comments issued in respect of what will happen if iran is attacked.
as long as there are political parties not saying lebanon first, it means they have foreign agendas, thus they are rogue groups of people.
we should all be under the same laws and not a single party should be allowed to dictate to the rest of us their views

Default-user-icon Kawmi Lebo (Guest) 25 November 2011, 16:54

Komrade Kawmi john is right, hezballah murdered the leaders of the Lebanese Resistance in South Lebanon and many of it's members aka Komrades of Kawmi john probably because they were not slaughtering Israeli soldiers according to Islamic halal law or according to the fatwa of the fakih and because the Lebanese Resistance was mostly made up of secular parties they would not agree to be fused or melted into the only resistance hezballah could endorse ie the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.

As you can see Komrade Kawmi john is and will always remain Naharnet's leading historian.

mowaten: "before you can say Hezbollah OBEYS Iran, you better have proof"

they pledge allegiance in baalbek in 1989, forgot that? pledging allegiance is an oath of fidelity to a country no? so it means to obey...

secondly, when nasrallah makes a fatwa against any chia to replace the resigning ministers he is the one who blocked the gvt! there were chias ready to take the place of those ministers!

third, your friends blocked the gvt , shut down the parliament, sit in downtown and so on and after you dare say they did nothing? of course your friends prevented any reforms or work to be carried out by the gvt!
then they blocked the gvt under the excuse of the false witnesses and now who is talking about them in the M8 gvt? no one!

finally iran is clearly the master of the hezb if you believe the contrary just open your eyes. and patriot said the rest!

Peace, which is worse? pledging "allegiance" to Iran and fighting the Israeli enemy or being "allied" with Israel/America..without US support there is no Israel). The majority of Lebanese have voted for M8.

Default-user-icon John from Koura (Guest) 25 November 2011, 18:28

Peace...you are making "allegiance" sound better than "ally". If HA is giving "allegiance" to Iran for fighting the Israeli (American) enemy because Iran is supporting the Resistance that is a lot better than being "allied" with America (Israel). Treason is when you collaborate with the enemy. ALL the mainstream Lebanese political parties has said that Israel (America) is the only enemy. Also, you have to be a hypocrite to call Israel an enemy and not the US. Without US military, political, and economic support. Israel can never kill and occupy. That is why most Arab head of states are puppets of the US (are Arab puppets "allies" of Israel/America or showing "allegiance"). Enough of this nonsense.

After the fall of the Assad Regime, Hezbollah will be more dangerous than ever. Unteathered from Syria and by extension from Iran, they will be on their own. They could turn political and become a force in Lebanese politics. But don't hold yor breath. Their ambition is far more broad than just Lebanon. They will go militant and thus invite a military solution, probably delivered by Israel. So the M14 plan should be post - Israeli operations inside of Lebanon.
There is a storm coming to Lebanon. And as in the past, whendestrubtion has come to Lebanon, Aoun has his hand in more misery for Lebanon.

Missing peace 26 November 2011, 02:22

john which is better : pledging allegiance to YOUR country or to a foreign one....
stop your hypocrisy will you?

Default-user-icon John from Koura (Guest) 26 November 2011, 02:36

"PEACE"..." Allegiance to your country". SURE. Does that mean being allied with America (Israel)? To most of the Lebanese that is TREASON.not "allegiance".

Default-user-icon a national (Guest) 26 November 2011, 02:53

Peace, M14 are slaves of America, Israel, and the Saudi regime. They are not pledging alliance to Lebanon, but Lebanon's enemies.

Default-user-icon Ahmad (Guest) 26 November 2011, 03:02

M14 pledged allegiance to the Royal Saud family after receiving 1 billions dollars in the 2009 elections.
