Change and Reform bloc ministers, loyal to Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun, are threatening to resign from the cabinet over the alleged bad performance of the government.

“The FPM considers that the approach of the cabinet regarding a number of issues is close to the performance of the previous government led by (ex-PM Saad) Hariri,” sources close to MP Michel Aoun told As Safir on Friday.

The sources said that a number of critical issues remain unsolved by the cabinet. “Nothing has changed, and this is unacceptable.”

The Change and Reform bloc sources told the daily that the ministers are considering their resignation because Prime Minister Najib Miqati isn’t responding to “ministerial demands” by the FPM on the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.”

However, MP Ziad al-Aswad, loyal to Aoun, said that the FPM ministers haven’t yet decided on whether to withdraw from the cabinet or not.

He reiterated to Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) that the FPM is against the funding of the STL.

Lebanon has to pay its share of about $33 million for the tribunal which has charged four Hizbullah members in the February 14, 2005 assassination of ex-Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 21 others.

I dare these guys to resign. They are just bluffing, the only way for them to resign is to align themselves with M14 .....

Now if these clowns resign from the gov, who are they going to ally with? They have no more friends
These guys are proving day after day that they are entire hypocrites and losers. What were they expecting from their Hizb allies? A constructive gov? I doubt that!
Too late my friends, the hole you dug yourselves into is a bit deeper than what you anticipated!
I wish they woke up a bit earlier
These loses won't dare to resign as they won't have any other golden opportunity like this one ever again.

“The FPM considers that the approach of the cabinet regarding a number of issues is close to the performance of the previous government led by (ex-PM Saad) Hariri,”

Yes, wel, ther's only one small difference, this cabinet is ONE SIDED!!
No blocking of Parliament.
No road blockades.
No Central District tents,
No May 7th.
No opposition.
No March 14th!

What does Aoun want exactly?? Aounistan??

A big part of the bad performance was because Aoun and his electricity scam. Let them leave......yalla, get out and stop talking.

This is a game to help take pressure off Miqati because he might leave if the hezz pressure him about the court funding.
