Report: Iran Official Accuses Detained Lebanese Man of Encouraging 'Decadence'

W460

A Lebanese national and U.S. permanent resident sentenced to 10 years in prison in Iran has confessed that he had tried to "encourage decadence" in the Iranian society, an Iranian semi-official news agency has quoted a Revolutionary Guard commander as saying.

Nizar Zakka, a Lebanese with resident status in the United States, disappeared in September 2015 during a trip to Iran to attend a conference.

The alleged confession has not been independently verified. Zakka's supporters deny accusations he is a spy and note he was invited to Tehran by the government.

The Mehr news agency Wednesday quoted Gen. Sayyari of the Guard's intelligence service as saying that Zakka tried to corrupt "Iranian women and families." The general was not identified by his first name.

Zakka was sentenced to 10 years and a $4.2 million fine.

Aoun and the Lebanese government are in deep coma completely surrendering to Hizbollah which is nothing other than Iran Junta's occupation army in Lebanon. As in 2006 HizbIran started a war with Israel to justify its arms when a consensus was building up inside Lebanon against its militia, it is following the same course today as it will sacrifice Lebanon again to remain a useful chip in the hand of Iran’s Junta and its regional ambitions. Can Aoun guaranty that Lebanon’s power plants, dams, and industrial zones will not be hit by Israel after Hizb fires rockets? Already our economy has suffered by Hizb speeches. Aoun is playing with fire and will likely be the worst president ever in Lebanese history by making Lebanon again subservient to Iran Junta and Assad. Not a single act Aoun did showed he has any respect for Lebanon’s independence, sovereignty and freedom.

What are the president and the foreign minister doing about our abducted Lebanese citizen ? Why aren't they using their diplomatic channels with iran's proxy in Lebanon to bail Nizar Zakka out?

Why aren't the tv stations mentioning him every day in the news. Why this complicit silence!?

Thank you Naharnet for publishing my message and also for not forgetting about mr Zakka who's lonely in an inhuman Iranian cell. He needs our moral support more than ever!

Gen. Sayyari is the iranian equivalent of abbas ibrahim of the shia general security in lebanon.
