French Intelligence Blames Syrian Regime for 'Chemical Attack'
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية
A report by French intelligence services blames Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime for a suspected chemical attack in rebel-held Syria that killed 87 people, Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said Wednesday.
He said the analysis of samples taken at the scene of the April 4 attack in Khan Sheikhun showed "there is no doubt that sarin gas was used".
"There is also no doubt about the responsibility of the Syrian regime given the way that the sarin used was produced," Ayrault told journalists after presenting a report compiled by French intelligence services.
"This (production) method bears the regime's hallmarks and allows us to determine its responsibility for this attack," he said.

See where Lebanon stands and where your Syria and Iran are!

and lol @ "We all had the feeling", that should be the standard in all investigations.

i thought that the French intelligence is really intelligent, but apparently they missed the fact that the sarin gas which was used, was stored in terrorists-held area, the question is not whether is sarin or not but who used it, it's obvious that the terrorists used the gas as responce, the terrorists were severly hit by the govt forces in recent days and America, France and Turkey who support them are using the issue to blame the regime.

and still nobody can give a single reason why the syrian army would use chemical weapons in that area. it had no tactical nor strategic advantage and was sure to give the terrorists a wave of sympathy and justify additional support by their foreign handlers.

Not to mention the attack happened in that dump of a village with absolutely no military significance, hundreds of kilometers away from any meaningful frontline.
If their was any target of military importance, the Syrian and Russian air force have no problem destroying it with regular ammunition.

exactly mowaten! Putin declared recently that Usa, England and France are preparing for another and who knows many of these fabricated stories... which finaly ended with civilians as victims, victims of the Syrian fake "revolution".

yes southern just because the credible putin 'declared', it means next time the assad regime uses chemical weapons you will be the first idiot to rush and say "see, i told you putin declared"

the whole article boils down to one argument: "he did it to send a message". but that doesn't stand to scrutiny, as the same message could have been sent with conventional weapons. it still doesnt give an explanation why chemicals would be used, knowing the political cost. (she also says that he didnt pay any price the last time he was accused of this, which is not true, since syria had to give up their entire chemical arsenal)

stop lying you psycho, none of your three propaganda pieces presents a single fact or a single military or political reason for using chemical weapons.
they all speculate, are out of touch with reality and make up convoluted stories to try to justify what is simply and purely illogical. one even says assad killed 500,000 people!! lol not only is that figure higher than the total death toll according to the UN (or even the SOHR for that matter) but it deliberately fails to acknowledge that over half of the victims are pro-assad forces and pro-assad civilians.

Losing the entire stockpile of syrian chemical weapons IS a heavy price! It was the one biggest element of deterrence against israel that syria lost. This explains at least in part why israelis have been feeling so free to bomb syria whenever they.
And it is precisely because trump started going in a more positive direction towards syria, that causing such a U-turn with a pointless chemical attack makes no sense. instead of trump turning his back on terror group he is back to supporting them. who wins? what "message" was sent other than "support us or we will gas more people"?
and no, khan sheikhoun in not a battlefront, even now after several weeks of progress on the northen hama front they are still dozens of kilometers from khan sheikhoun.

your question has been answered, not my problem if you're too retarded to understand my comment, and even less my problem if you dont like the answer.

if the regime had bombed a warehouse all experts agree that it would not release gas as it would have been destroyed by the bombing...
éMilitary analysts dismissed this claim. They note that in the event of chemical weapons being destroyed by powerful explosions in a depot or a warehouse, most of the chemicals are destroyed in the blast and consumed by the heat which follows. Some dispersal of chemicals may occur, but if it does, it covers only a small area adjacent to the depot.
The victims in the 4 April attack were hit over a large area, consistent not only with an aerial attack – but with a sophisticated attack at that: the bombs carrying the chemicals had pressure or timer mechanisms to trigger an explosion at a pre-determined altitude to ensure the broadest and most effective dispersal of the toxic chemicals."
but wati mooowaten knows better than experts of course.....

" The Guardian reports that a visit by its journalists to the site of the chemical attack found no evidence to back the Russian claim. The site which the Russians claimed was the rebels’ chemical weapons storage facility was found to be empty, abandoned warehouse and grain silos which were empty except for soil and animal feed.
There was also no sign that the site was ever bombed."

funny you should ask about names, I guess you must have a hard time keeping track of yours... sos/terrorist/mowaten impersonator/norma jean/etc

lol peace, dont bother naming experts, just say "all experts agree" and follow up with whatever BS you want to say, regardless of many experts saying otherwise, only the anonymous and the ones who support your propaganda are included in "all", obviously.

"You lied when you said "Assad would not have done it because he knows the cost he will pay""
Please do not falsify quotes, what you put between quotation marks is not something I said here. If you want to accuse me of "lying" at least use my actual words.
"I showed how with Obama gone and Trump saying 2 days prior that he no longer seek to oust Assad no matter what"
Again, falsifying quotes and changing the meaning of what people say to suit your wacky reasoning. What nikki haley said is "our priority is no longer to sit there and focus on getting Assad out".
That is very different from what you claim.
"is actually something everybody including Assad read as Assad has green light to do whatever with no cost to worry about"
as indicated above: nope. you are only saying this based on quotes you invented to suit your wacky reasoning.

"using chemical weapons over a conventional one - that turns crowded cities into ghost towns and horrified fighters fleeing their defenses"
yet that is not what happened. the level of damage and casualties (around 80) could have not only been achieved with conventional weapons, but even drastically exceeded without giving the terrorists this propaganda opportunity
"which greately help expedite a regine ground offensive campaign against Idlib"
yet a month later, the offensive is dozens of kilometers away. if the aim was to "expedite" the offensive, they would have targeted the defensive lines, not some random city dozens of kilometers from the front.

"And Assad who is so eager to finish off with the rebels the soonest would endorse such attacks"
everyone in syria is eager to finish off the terrorists, but one thing the syrian leadership has demonstrated over and over again is their incredible patience. they havent rushed any action on any front, instead wisely calculating their every move and knowing when to wait and when to hit. this is why they are calmly winning, while you are hysterically losing.

and i dont need your bbc article to know where khan sheikhoun is, i know exactly where it is. you may not realize it but in that map the nearest government areas are dozens of kilometers away, and the frontlines where even further to the south, on the northern edge of hama (south of taybat el imam and suran) where all the fighting has been happening these last four weeks.

"lol peace, dont bother naming experts, just say "all experts agree" and follow up with whatever BS you want to say, regardless of many experts saying otherwise,"
any source to prove that the sarin gas does not destroy itself under the force of a bomb but rather dissipates in the air?

oh well, we're simply on different dimensions lol
enjoy the hearty support by terrorist (aka "sos") i'm sure he means it :D

peace
"The O.P.C.W. suggests destroying chemical weapons in one of two ways: closed incineration or neutralization. Incineration, which is used by the U.S. Department of Defense, utilizes extremely hot furnaces, in which temperatures can reach up to twenty-seven hundred degrees in the primary chamber and two thousand degrees in a secondary chamber. The high temperature is supposed to break down any toxic chemicals into harmless—or, at least, controllable—end products. But there’s always the possibility that not every single component will be roasted until it’s a harmless residue."
but why bother with all that? according to "all experts on earth and their descendants", simply throw a random bomb on the warehouses, that should safely neutralize all the chemical weapons stored in it!

lol anonyme, dont take yourself too seriously. I simply got bored talking to a psychotic liar who twists up quotes and makes up random facts when it suits him, and I consider I made my points very clear for any sane person to understand.
You admitting I am right will not happen, you're too weak and dishonest for that, and I am not willing to spend more time on the subject, repeating the same things over and over. If you think that by posting the last comment you "won"(lololol), or "busted me out" (lololol) then be my guest.

noooo seriously, you're comparing that to Chernobyl???? ahhahahahahahahahahahaha duuuude that comparison is golden, i won't even try to explain to you how wrong you are on how many levels, i'll just frame your comment and place it over my desk. every time i'll need a laugh i'll know where to look!!!

your question is once again based on false premises, like all your twisted reasoning and arguments. you start by inventing quotes or events, and then ask a question or base an argument on it as if it were true.
"indiscriminaely (sic) slaughtering Lebanese Christian civilians hiding in shelters" source that if you can, and no, I will not accept your neighbor's blog or your uncle's bedtime stories.

One solution is the use of mobile destruction units, which can be moved into place relatively quickly and therefore avoid the dangers of transporting live weapons through a warzone.
Some of these mobile units destroy chemical agents by surrounding them with explosives and placing them in an armour-plated chamber, known as a "bang box". The explosion destroys the munition and the chemical agent.
Another system which may be employed in Syria uses so-called "hot-detonation technology". It heats the munitions inside a detonation chamber to about 550 degrees C - hot enough to destroy the weapon and its chemical contents.
so, ya wati, a bomb can perfectly destroy chemical agents by the heat resulting from the explosion as military experts say...
now buzz off ....

@peace: did you not read the part that said "surrounding them with explosives and placing them in an armour-plated chamber, known as a "bang box""? where is that "bang box" in khan sheykhoun ya smartie? where is the surrounding belt of explosives?
a shell or air-dropped munition falling on a warehouse will crack the containers, disperse their contents, not lock them in and incinerate them. we're not talking about nuclear warheads or MOABs here!! gee how dumb can dumb be!?!?

anonyme:
"Ohhh...look at the Mowaten Iran Kalb denying Assad regime using 240 mm shelter busting mortars indiscriminately against Lebanese Christian areas."
Did I even talk about the caliber of the weapons you lying doorknob? I was very precise in what I said, but since you can't answer me you dodge the point and answer beside it. I was challenging your claim that they "indiscriminately slaughtered Lebanese Christian civilians hiding in shelters", whereas you're talking about what mortars they used in the fight against Aoun.

_mowaten_ 18 minutes ago
and still nobody can give a single reason why the syrian army would use chemical weapons in that area.
you have a distorted pathetic logic. It's like saying nobody would give a reason why a serial killer murders his victims. The real world is different than your world of fantasy and propaganda that melts 90 kgs of gold into 4 liter water bottles and makes a mere human carry them on his back from dubai to beirut.

deliberately misquoting me, what else is new is the trollosphere? :)

what about the victims that were treated? did they come from outer space? can't doctors determined by what they were suffering? LOL
if the regime had bombed a warehouse all experts agree that it would not release gas as it would have been destroyed by the bombing...
but our hezbi experts here know better than all the experts in the world....

The report merely says the sarin was produced by Assad. Assad and the Russians already said the sarin fell into enemy hands and then the repository got bombed.

I like France's stance: They look at Daesh and Iran's toxic ideologies as the same. They know it's all lies from both, so why take any word from them seriously? Fakeness is in their genes.
