Jreissati Says Probe 'Libelous' Saudi Journalists

Justice Minister Salim Jreissati has asked the country's prosecutor general to launch an investigation against two Saudi journalists who appeared on a TV talk show and branded the Lebanese president and parliament speakers as "terrorists," the National News Agency reported.

Jreissati wrote in a two-page letter Friday to the prosecutor that the two men, Ibrahim Al Merhi and Adwan al-Ahmari, have engaged in libel against top officials including President Michel Aoun and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

The move comes at a time when tensions are high between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia over last week's resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri, announced from the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Al Merhi and al-Ahmari appeared Thursday night on Kalam Ennas, one of the most watched weekly TV programs in Lebanon.

Another example of Iranian-Hezbollah hegemony over Lebanon and its institutions including the judicial system. This iranian tool has no problem to file a law suit against two saudi journalists who according to him defamed his president and his entourage when the two journalists were simply stating facts.

Yet, the iranian owned justice minister has no problem with Manar or Al Akhbar so called journalists like Al Amin who spread hatred, make open threats on people's lives, and attack other countries.

Lebanon is a hostile country to its neighbors and is totally controlled by hezbollah.

OMG ! OMG ! OMG!

Even on an article regarding Justice Minister Salim Jreissati, I find you _mowaten_ spamming, trolling, and terrorizing other posters. What kind of creature are you? New evidence surfaces by the minute that you are a paid poster but the question remains who pays you and for what exact purpose? Is it the Iranian embassy, is it the revolutionary guard, is it the syrian intelligence or the ex-KGB? These questions must be answered by you and NOW if you have an ounce of credibility left.

Go arrest nassrallah who every other day fires a paid speech insulting just about every other Arab leader and close every iranian paid mouthpiece newspaper and TV station.

Now it is clear to me. The Russians use trolls to get their message through on twitter and social media. The Israelis use trolls as seen on this forum. Naharnet should investigate the fake Lebanese on this forum.

The consensus is that we want PM Hariri back. The Israelis, Saudis and Iranians can take their fight elsewhere.
