Hariri Begins Official Visit to Turkey


Prime Minister Saad Hariri arrived Tuesday evening in Ankara on an official visit during which he will meet with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.

A statement issued by Hariri's office said talks will tackle “the latest developments in Lebanon and the region and means to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.”

Hariri is accompanied by Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq, his advisers Nader Hariri and Bassem al-Sabaa, and High Relief Commission chief Maj. Gen. Mohammed Kheir.
