UNIFIL Finds Old Grenades near Israel's Border

Troops from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) on Monday found two hand grenades alongside the border fence in the southern town of Kfarkila, the National News Agency reported.
“Army troops and security forces immediately arrived on the scene and prevented pedestrians and cars from approaching the area to preserve their safety ahead of the arrival of bomb technicians,” NNA said.
A military expert who examined the grenades said they were old.
The grenades were later taken to the Francois al-Hajj Barracks in Marjeyoun.
