President Michel Aoun has reassured that Syria's raging war will not affect Lebanon, noting that there will be no “winners or losers in the upcoming elections.”

“We have managed to create a situation in which losses and victories in Syria do not have an effect and Lebanon would maintain a state of stability and prosperity without getting entangled in conflicts,” Aoun said in an interview with Egypt's ON Live TV.

“This has secured stability for the country and kept us away from the repercussions of what's happening in Syria,” the president added.

“The international community also wants stability for Lebanon,” Aoun went on to say.

Turning to the issue of the upcoming elections, the president said “there will be no winners or losers in the upcoming elections.”

“We will have a parliament characterized with balance and the most correct representation that reflects Lebanon's pluralism,” Aoun added.

'No Winners, Losers' in Elections

that is because the election law was tailor made to ensure the ruling mafia will prevail once more.

If your next time party was to follow through with 2% of its lies Israel would not exist on a map. The elections will have the same people running with the same results no change to the current management or their deeds. This is not a nation but a business with stakeholders from the various party's all with their slice of the cake. The citizen will undoubtedly be disappointed again but will be reminded of the upcoming changes soon to happen....the same promises the bearded goats party has towards demolishing Israel....some time soon.

Espéraient tous que le président hésitant se dirige vers de plus grandes choses comme mener la nouvelle libération de Zanzibar des Zanzibariens ou quelque chose de cette ampleur globale.
