Syria Says Repelled 'Missile Attack' on Homs Military Airport

W460

A Syrian military airport came under a “hostile missile attack” Thursday evening, Syria's state news agency SANA said.

“One of our military airports in the central region has come under a missile attack and our air defense systems have confronted the attack and prevented it from achieving its goals,” SANA quoted a Syrian military source as saying.

The agency had earlier reported blasts around the al-Dabaa military airport in Homs' countryside.

Shortly before the reported attack, several warplanes were seen and heard flying over the Lebanese capital Beirut and the Mount Lebanon region.

Israel has several times used Lebanon's airspace to carry out airstrikes in Syria in recent months. The raids usually target bases belonging to Hizbullah and Iranian forces.

True or not, Syria must be destroyed further for what it did to Lebanon.

Mystic

Where are your ballistic missiles now? Oh, I forgot you only fire them at Saudi Arabia.

Mystic you obviously hate "foreign support". After all Hezbollah is a home grown group, everyone knows this. No wait! Without "foreign support" the most advanced technology you're able to afford is an Etch A Sketch and you'd still be trying to figure out how it works. Dude, Hezbollah wouldn't even exist without "foreign support". They couldn't even come up with a name on your own and the yellow flag you have there in your avatar is almost an exact copy of the Pasdaran flag. Everything from name, flag, ideology, financing even your fashions sense is because of "foreign support". Before "foreign support" you were throwing rice and roses at the Israeli tanks because they were ridding you of Fatehland. Actually the Israeli tank were also "foreign support". Also without Russian "foreign support" the war be over in 2015 and all the Iranian investment would have been for naught.

Thumb extraterrestrial.alien 25 May 2018, 16:22

But you are slightly right Mystic. If there was real "foreign support" with just a few surface to air missiles to the FSA, the war would've been over in 2011 and Bashar would've joined Saddam, Muammar, Husni and Zine El Abidine in the ash heaps of history.

How Sad.....
How Tragic.....

I will never understand why our resistance is being targeted by these unknown origin Israeli air strikes using F-35 stealth fighters. I know that Lebanon and the resistance abide by a dissociation policy and they never interfere in regional wars or disputes. This is an uncalled for hostile act that should not go unpunished.

My hope is that not many resistance and allied shia fighters lost their lives, their limbs, or got mutilated or dismembered.

Where is the United Nations and World opinion in all of this?

Live on lies and die with them, I recall the days when Israel shot down 46 Syrian fighter planes in one afternoon and Radio Demashq was claiming total annihilation of the IDF Airforce. And guess whats changed since then? nothing...
