Drugs Hidden in Bags of Nuts Seized, Dealer Arrested
Police arrested a drug dealer who concealed salvia, cocaine and cannabis inside small bags of nuts and sold them in Beirut’s Downtown area, the Internal Security Forces said in a statement on Saturday.
ISF said that Beirut police detained the suspect, a Lebanese, on June 6, in Downtown Beirut.
He was riding his motorcycle which he also used during his promotion deeds in the said location.
Police seized ample amount of narcotics in his possession, which he carefully hid inside nut bags.
Police confiscated 20 bags each containing around 5g of salvia, another 14 bags that each contained around 3g of the same material, 11 plastic boxes containing around 2g of cocaine each, and 200 grams of cannabis and some money notes.
The statement said the suspect is wanted on several drug arrest warrants.
