Drugs Hidden in Bags of Nuts Seized, Dealer Arrested
Police arrested a drug dealer who concealed salvia, cocaine and cannabis inside small bags of nuts and sold them in Beirut’s Downtown area, the Internal Security Forces said in a statement on Saturday.
ISF said that Beirut police detained the suspect, a Lebanese, on June 6, in Downtown Beirut.
He was riding his motorcycle which he also used during his promotion deeds in the said location.
Police seized ample amount of narcotics in his possession, which he carefully hid inside nut bags.
Police confiscated 20 bags each containing around 5g of salvia, another 14 bags that each contained around 3g of the same material, 11 plastic boxes containing around 2g of cocaine each, and 200 grams of cannabis and some money notes.
The statement said the suspect is wanted on several drug arrest warrants.

He was not arrested because he was dealing drugs. That's legal because he owned an unregistered moped marked "Resistance effort". He was arrested when a keen eyed nutbag inspector noticed that the listed ingredients on the bag of nuts the suspect was selling were incomplete. This contravenes the Lebanese consumer protection act and here in Lebanon we enforce this to the full extend of the law.. or till someone important says to misplace the evidence.

توقيف مطلوبين في مدينة الهرمل – حي الضيعة
صدر عن قيادة الجيش- مديرية التوجيه البيان الآتي:
نتيجة الرصد والمتابعة أوقفت دورية من مديرية المخابرات بتاريخ 23/6/2018 الساعة 20.00 في مدينة الهرمل _ حي الضيعة، المدعو نضال حمادة، المطلوب بموجب عدة وثائق لإقدامه على إطلاق النار وإصابة أحد الأشخاص، والتحريض على الإشكالات بين عائلتين من المدينة المذكورة في الفترة الأخيرة. كما تم توقيف المطلوب مروان شامل جعفر بجرم اطلاق نار، وقد ضبطت بحوزته كميات مختلفة من المخدرات.
سُلّم الموقوفان مع المضبوطات إلى المراجع المختصة، وبوشر التحقيق بإشراف القضاء المختص.
