Military Solution in Syria's Idlib 'Will Cause Catastrophe', Turkey FM Says

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu warned Friday that seeking a military solution in Syria's last rebel-held province of Idlib would lead to disaster.

"A military solution there will cause catastrophe," Cavusoglu said at a press conference in Moscow with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

"Not only for the Idlib region but for the future of Syria, it will cause catastrophe and the clashes may last a long time."

He said, "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has jihadis coming out of its rear, but we only have a few hundred and we can't just let them go up in smoke."

Turkey should deploy and add Idlib to its provinces like they did a century ago when they annexed Antioch.

They could do it SOS, it wont be the first or the last time we see the Turks do that lol.
Syria very soo will find itself in the same predicament that Lebanon found it itself since its independence and that it is now completely dependent on foreign influence. Russia, Iran , Turkey the GCC, USA and even Lebanon are predicating its rise from its ashes if possible.
