Promethean: A Digital Future for Education and Business

Supporting leading educational technology and corporate business innovation, the British Ambassador to Lebanon Tom Fletcher hosted, the British company ‘Promethean’ and its Local partner in Lebanon, Education Technology Manager, IET, at his residence for a reception to present and launch 'Promethean' - the Interactive board to the private sector.

The event was attended by Eugene Viskovic “President Promethean International and Rabih Baalbaki Education Technology Manager, IET, Head of the Catholic schools, father Marwan Tabet, Director General of the ministry of Education Fady Yarak, in addition to representatives from the IT sectors, the military, private businesses and heads of private and public schools.

In his address, Fletcher welcomed the great advancements in technology led by British innovation in the field of education. He added: ‘‘Some guests now wish they were back to school, having seen this magnificent interactive tool. I am also very pleased to find the English language leading the way for the future of education and changing the way we go about doing business and education’’.

For his part, Eugene Viskovic pointed to the great success achieved by Promethean technology in the management of tasks and missions, as well as its ability to work with any device or system of technology. He advised the corporate sector to Lebanon in taking the time to meet up with the company's representative, Rabih Baalbaky, in order to come up with business solutions complementing their objectives.
