Israeli Drilling Works Continue on Border

Israeli forces continued Wednesday drilling works on Lebanon's border in search of suspected Hizbullah tunnels, the Lebanese National News Agency said.

“Enemy forces are continuing drilling works on the border with Kfarkila and the (Lebanese) army forced them to adjust their border wall plans,” NNA said.

According to the agency, a patrol from the army's Directorate of Geographic Affairs carried out delineation works in a disputed area facing Kfarkila, forcing Israeli troops to retreat beyond the military route.

The works were being monitored by a large number of troops from the two sides as well as UNIFIL peacekeepers, NNA added.
