Spain ex-PM to Testify at Catalan Separatists' Trial
Spain's former prime minister Mariano Rajoy will be one of "hundreds" of witnesses to testify at the February 12 trial of Catalan separatist leaders, the Supreme Court said Friday.
Rajoy, who sacked Catalonia's regional government and called snap local elections after an independence referendum in October 2017, was unseated by a no-confidence vote backed by Catalan separatist parties last year.
