Hariri on Twitter: Assad is in Denial

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri deemed as “ridiculous” Syrian President Bashar Assad’s speech on Tuesday.

He said via Twitter on Tuesday: “Assad is in denial as he has deemed all the developments in his country as a conspiracy.”

Addressing Hizbullah’s recent statements that United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is not welcome in Lebanon, he wondered: “When have they ever welcomed anyone?”

On Saturday, senior Hizbullah official Mohammed Yazbek slammed Ban’s scheduled visit to Lebanon, saying: “Ban, (U.N. Special Envoy) Terri Rod Larson, and the messenger of evil and conspiracy’s (U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs) Jeffrey Feltman are unwelcomed in Lebanon.”

Ban is expected to stress to various officials the need to resolve the possession of arms outside the authority of the Lebanese state during his trip to Beirut on January 13.

On Monday, Hariri tweeted that the Arab League should have sought the United Nation’s help on resolving the Syrian crisis.

“God help the Syrian people… but they will be free soon God’s willing,” he noted.

He stressed that the Syrian regime will collapse soon without forcing the country into a “civil war.”

Saad'an, now that you have been exiled from libon, why dont you donate a few bucks from your billions to the syrian opposition and help them out with whatever they need, instead of hiding behind a keyboard, ya malak al twitter

very insightful comment by profile! but unfortunately for profile, it still employs old outdated methods consisting of deriding the commenter in order to create diversion from reading the actual article. those methods are to hide the shallowness of the article's actual subject, namely a forty something waging a 'war' on twitter. and thanks for naharnet again for removing my previous comment although it doesnt contain insults or classified info... gharib... it just contained free speech... it seems naharnet is allergic to it.

It's comments like these from cheikh Imbecile that make us miss him and his ridiculous stupidities and entertaining stuttering speeches. Call him a malleable dough in the shape of a man in denial!!!

"the syrian regime is going to fall soon and its lebanese supporters to cry ...."

careful what you wish for. but then, idiots never know the consequences of their wishes..

there's even a commenter on naharnet/M14's payroll named 'always'.... who in their right mind names themselves after a brand of tampons?????! but then, a lot of them are emotional sissies who think syrians torture small children and drink their blood and iranians are satanic deathcultists who look like the armies in the movie '300'
