Israeli Night Raids Hit PFLP in Bekaa

Israel carried out night raids on Monday at military positions of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) in the Eastern Mountain Range opposite the Bekaa town of Qusaya, the National News Agency reported on Monday.

NNA said that three explosions rocked central Bekaa shortly after midnight. The first blast was heard at 1:11 a.m. followed by two at 1:25 and 1:35.

The PFLP-GC responded with a barrage of anti-aircraft fire, it said.

According to a PFLP-GC official, “an MK plane (drone) targeted one of our positions with three small missiles,” noting that “no casualties were reported, only material damages.”

The strikes came just hours after Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah threatened Israel after two drones fell on its Beirut stronghold in what he described as a targeted "drone attack".

The PFLP-GC has close ties to Hizbullah and the Syrian government.

It has positions in the eastern region of Bekaa, as well as in Al-Naaemeh just south of Beirut.

Qusaya is only about five kilometers (three miles) from the Syrian border.

in two words: well done!

The fact they returned fire on the drone proves they should get neutralized. These terrorists armed by Hizbala and Syria should get kicked out of Lebanon ASAP.

Along with the majority of Lebanese, who are Shia according to Noam Chomsky, leaving the Sunnis, who themselves probably outnumber the Christians, to decide if they want to continue the privilege of reserving half of the Chamber of Deputies for Christians, as outlined in Article 24 of the Constitution, or whether they would start the transition to non-confessionalism outlined in Article 95, referred to by Patriarch al Rahi. Is he in favor of the transition? If he is, maybe the Christians should not kick out the Shias. Can you imagine SOS going around with his friends on the internet, door to door by email, telling people they deem Shia to get out or else?

If the sound party has a MOU with Kuzballah and Kuzb provides cover to the PFLP, is Aoun going to decry the attack like he did when dahayih got hit the other night?

As PFLP members are not Lebanese citizens but plain and simple terrorists then why should peaceloving Lebanon care.
