Parliament to Resume Meetings Next Week at UNESCO Palace
Speaker Nabih Berri called lawmakers for three consecutive Parliament meetings next week at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut instead of the Parliament building in Beirut’s Nejmeh Square.
Berri said the meetings will be held on April 21, 22 and 23 to discuss and approve draft laws listed on the agenda.
Lebanon’s Parliament has halted its activities and closed MPs' offices since March to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
