Akar Urges U.N. to Put End to Israeli Overflights
Caretaker Deputy PM and Defense Minister Zeina Akar on Thursday denounced the latest Israeli violations of Lebanon’s airspace.
“The Israeli enemy’s successive and repeated daily violations of the Lebanese airspace are continuing,” Akar said in a statement.
“The hostile aircraft overflew Lebanon today, reaching the heights of Keserwan, Jbeil and Chekka,” she added.
“The United Nations must quickly intervene to put an end to these violations, which encroach on Lebanese sovereignty and clearly breach Resolution 1701, which defines the rules of stability and security in the Lebanese south,” Akar urged.
She also warned that any violation of Resolution 1701 would further complicate the situations.
Israel has remarkably intensified its overflights in Lebanon’s airspace over the past two days.

Unfortunately, Minister Akar perverts the old saying "Do as I do".
When she as the Defence Minister of Lebanon clears all the terrorists groups mainly Hizballah out of the country, in compliance with Resolution 1701 which she is relying on, then and only then will she have the right to complain about Israeli overflights.

She's 1/2 right. Both Lebanon and Israel should commit to full compliance with 1701. Instead, she complains about Israeli violations while ignoring Lebanon's. Israel will not fully comply while Lebanon ignores key provisions important to Israel.

So either all of these comments are posted by Israeli hasbara trolls or by Lebanese blinded by their own sectarian hatreds to see the violation of our airspace and sovereignty by a hostile enemy state as a problem. Israel did this before Hezbollah and will continue to do so because they are a colonial settler state that wants to take control of our water and resources, just like Syria did in their occupation.. no wonder why our country is run by traitors, there are so many of them in our general pop.
