The speeches that will be made at the February 14 ceremony marking the seventh anniversary of the assassination of former Premier Rafik Hariri will primarily focus on local developments and then Syrian crisis, reported the daily An Nahar on Saturday.

It added that it remains to be seen which members of the Syrian National Council will give a speech at the event, which will be held at the Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center.

It revealed that the speech will stress the importance of respecting Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence and the need for overthrowing the Syrian regime.

The BIEL ceremony will include speeches by March 14 leaders, including ex-Premier Saad Hariri, who is most likely to address supporters, politicians and academicians through a giant screen.

Saad Hariri is recuperating at his house in Paris after suffering from fractures in his left leg during a ski accident in the French Alps.

Rafik Hariri was killed in a massive car bombing in Beirut on February 14, 2005.

"the need for overthrowing the Syrian regime" exactly what aoun has been repeating for years...
in 2004 he said that no good relations can be achieved with syria till the assad 's regime is in place, there were no possibility of dialogue and that this regime was unable to change! (radio liban liberte mars 2004...)
in 2003 march 13 in le figaro he said that someone must put an end to its harmful influence on the region...
without the numerous times he said it was a terrorist regime...

now all the fpm supporters praise bashar, support his regime!
ironic isn t it?

Those who suffer from collective Alzheimer's might be able to retain a very short memory. Those in Lebanon suffering from this disease will not remember who threw himself into the arms of the Syrians against ebn balado at the height of their occupation. What they will not remember either is who handed the key to Beirut to Ghazi Loubnan, collaborated with the occupiers and lectured us on the legal, temporary and necessary nature of this occupation. Alzheimer's is so far an incurable disease, which turns a human being into a vegetable.

not my fault if you are stupid enough to follow a man who has spit on his convictions... you have no dignity that s all ...

just to remind you because you fpm tend to forget a lot the kind of man you are blindly following and to let you realize that M14 is just saying what aoun said before !!!!

and the fact that you tell me to forget to say what aoun said before only proves how ashamed and disoriented you are because you just would like to erase that from your memories because it doesn t match with your present propaganda and lies!!!!

oh and by the way just learn how to read too!!

i wasn t blaming the fpm, just reminding you that aoun before his return and M14 agree!

Sinoura said 2 days ago that, “From the onset, we said that we are not interfering in Syria’s domestic affairs". ??? What???
