An Israeli force comprising 10 troops on Wednesday left its military post in the occupied town of Ghajar and advanced towards the recreational parks on the bank of the Wazzani River in Lebanese territory, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported.

“The force crossed the electronic fence and stationed itself in the area located between the fence and the virtual Blue Line,” NNA said.

The Blue Line is the U.N.-drawn border between the two countries established following the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000. Both Lebanon and Israel have challenged its accuracy in several locations.

“Some troops took up combat positions, pointing their machineguns at the Lebanese territory,” NNA reported.

Lebanese army and UNIFIL patrols arrived on the scene and monitored the movements of the Israeli force, the news agency said, adding that Israeli troops withdrew from the area shortly after the arrival of the patrols.

They are testing Lebanese Army response times, before they actually attack in summer (most likely).

I'd say the united states has come to the conclusion that the only way to remove assad from power is for Israel to enter Lebanon - which would destabilize the whole region.

The Zionist lobby is pushing hard in the USA for israel to attack.

The "only way" huh? what a stupid analysis lol, as if the US does not have the power to remove this boy of yours bashar. Truth is israel loves the assads who gave them the golan heights and kept it safe for 40 years, israel is quite weary of the alternative syrian regime which explains all the hesitancy in the west. The world powers are in the process of negotations to create the alternative, the status quo and safety of israel's borders are on top of the list just like they were when they sent the UNIFL to lebanon. There is no more war between leb/israel, the hizzie forces are allocated to fight civil conflicts and help the syrian regime.

this is the prelude to the destruction of hizbushaitan especially with all the verhead flying of several regions the last few days :)

Where was hizbustan in all this?? too bussy killing syrians in hums and idlib i guess. Hizbustan resigned to internal conflicts and militia affairs since the "victory" in 2006, any observer can easily verify that.
