Hariri Denies al-Manar Report Qoreitem Mansion Sold

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s press office denied on Saturday an al-Manar TV report that Qoreitem mansion was sold or donated to the French embassy.

The office said in a press release that the report by the mouthpiece of Hizbullah about the mansion being sold for 700 million dollars was a lie.

It accused Hizbullah of covering up for four of its members wanted in connection with the murder of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri and issuing lies and rumors and misleading the media.

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon, set up by the U.N. Security Council to try those responsible for the assassination of Hariri in 2005, announced in February that it will put the four Hizbullah members on trial even though they have not yet been detained.

Arrest warrants have been issued for the four men -- Salim Ayyash, Mustafa Badreddine, Hussein Oneissi, and Assad Sabra.

One thing we all know he sold, though, and it is the STL farce whose sale contract he signed in BOLD AND CLEAR writing.

Don't they wish... They are dying to see the Hariri dynasty disappear from the local scene... Fat chance Ali Baba Nasrallah and company...
They murdered the father and now they are going after the son...

At least his money didn't come from terrorists. It was graciously given to his father by the late king of saudi-Arabia.

700 million dollars. Bill Gates's mansion not worth more than 100 million. Take the offer and run.

Missing helicopter 07 April 2012, 18:54

Bill Gate's mansion sits on land that sells for $1 a meter in Seattle Washington. Koreitem fetches a $1M a meter. I am sure he can get more for it if he is willing to sell it to Hezb or to the Iranian embassy.

It is safer in Washington.

Where is the political sensibility here? If he was a smart politicians, he would have said " If I sold or not, is not your business". Instead of defending bagatelle like this.

Who cares if he sold it or not.

Missing helicopter 07 April 2012, 18:51

your parties sold Lebanon to the devil to finance your elections and buy voters, so it is ok if he sold his mansion.

Missing helicopter 07 April 2012, 18:55

He might right after Hezb officials all leave to Iran where they belong.

3.5 Mill Lebs IN Lebanon and approx 14+ mill outside. So of those 14+ Million of us that decided on dual citizenship through naturalization or birth. Well if your suggesting that Hariri pack up and go than I and everyone like me will pack up and go and the only place money will flow into to the country from Lebanese working out side will only be from Iran!!!.

Worry not, al-manat is a piece of junk.... Seeks to create troubles. I'm glad it was banned in Europe a long time ago.

Always question the source.......Manar?? The Farsi propaganda network in Lebanon. They don't even know what journalism is.

Missing cedars 08 April 2012, 07:13

In other words he is telling the citizens of Lebanon who are still living in the dark ages, do not listen to the Manar because it's misleading you and trying to brain wash you with Iranian money.
