Syria Warns to Retaliate to 'Intensified' Rebel Attacks

Syria warned on Sunday that its forces will respond to "intensified" rebel attacks, even as U.N. military observers were headed for the unrest-hit country to monitor a shaky ceasefire.

"Armed terrorist groups have intensified their attacks in a hysterical way against the army, law enforcement forces, and civilians, in conjunction with the approval of the U.N. Security Council resolution to send monitors to Syria," a military official said, quoted by state television.

Security forces "will prevent the terrorist groups from continuing their criminal attacks," the official added.

they cant win, the fire is simply too big to extinguish..did you see the demonstrations in the last few days? that should tell you that this tide is irreversible and the regime is slowly but surely dying versus time.

Another 1975 in Syria. Unfortunately both sides are not innocent and have blood on their hands, who wants to see militias fighting a state, but the way how you govern and rule is very important to earn respect of the people and citizens. You massacre the innocent people and rule for 50 years in an iron fist way and ruthlessly (i.e. like father like son) then you pay the price at the end.
