Jumblat: Syrians Will Crush the Regime Sooner or Later

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat said Monday that the Syrians will “crush the ruling gang” and claim victory over President Bashar al-Assad’s regime sooner or later, urging Russia and Iran to support the people not the government.

In his weekly editorial in the PSP-affiliated al-Anbaa magazine, Jumblat said that “Egypt witnessed a historical moment when elected President Mohammed Morsi took power to initiate a new era.”

“No one is born a leader. The characteristics of a true leader are built up through personal effort and specific circumstances,” the PSP leader said, hoping that Morsi would lead Egypt towards progress and change to retain its position on Arab and regional levels, specifically in supporting the Palestinian cause.

Jumblat said that Syria will follow Egypt in claiming victory over the “ruling gangs, because injustice cannot go on forever,” adding that the “Syrian people will crush the regime sooner or later.”

“Certain countries supporting Syria till this moment should take the Egyptian model as an example and allow the people to practice democracy,” he said, in a clear reference to Russia and Iran.

Jumblat said: “We are looking forward for the Arab world to support Egypt financially instead of investing in useless projects, because the region is in desperate need to regain Egypt’s position and role to support the Palestinian cause.”

Common sense, really... but even the lebanese terrorists (HA, those who hijacked God's name) know this. Their only way out of this is through civil war. That's why they're trying to ignite the FINUL in the south and Beirut's suburbs by blocking roads by setting fire to tires. Assad will be gone, Saturday's decision with the agreement of the Great Russia and China signed Assad's death. Let's hope Maher and Bachar's wife Asma will feel the wrath of their people sooner rather than later.

Népotismo, from Italian nepote (nephew)... Is the norm in Lebanon and many other nations, it's one of the most common types of corrupcion. Jumblatt, Aoun, Gemayel, , Fadlalla etc... Petty much all factions in Lebanon are corrupt.and those who aren't today will be tomorrow. (Berri and the others). We need fresh faces... But I doubt this will happen unless we get a revolucion like Egypt.

Even Jumblat has reverted to Dr. Falso's profession: predictions. When one gets to the level of Dr. Falso you know they cannot sing any deeper. That's basically as deep as anyone can get before earth covers him.

perestroika must be kidding.... for god sake 3an ayya esla7 3am te7keh?
It is a programmed path to an economic shut down. Hezbollah get the money from Iran, and his interests lies in destroying the lebanese market in order to push people to sell lands to survive as he has the money to buy it. This government has been inflating us with talks about funding they sent away every institution that would fund the smallest project. In other terms, they just killed the lebanese private sector or the lebanese initiative. Now it is just a matter of when hezbollah will tighten its grasp on lebanon, because on the international scale nations fight terrorism not nations and in order to get away with hezbollah is wearing the cloak of the lebanese nation or in Nasrallah's terms... But according to my friend/bloggers slash, allouchi, peace, Gabby/missing in inaction, benzona, tonyfarris and the rest of the strategists of March Farteen, the regime has been crushed over 6593 times already. Just ask the "mounazzer par excellence" Samir Mouderyenchi Geagea and the "wow, how much he impresses jerks" Walid Jumblat.
