Al-Rahi Blames Officials for Deteriorating Situation in Lebanon

Maronite Partiarch Beshara al-Rahi urged Christians on Sunday to play a positive role in resolving the crises in Lebanon on the levels of economy, politics and peace.
“The Lebanese need to be reassured and to get out from the worrisome state that they have reached,” al-Rahi said during Sunday mass at the patriarchal at his Diman summer residence.
He expressed regret about the tension among the Lebanese, the disputes, the protests, the violations, the assassination attempts, the roads block, and the spread of arms in the country.
“The political cover by officials for the offenders is shameful… They are held responsible for the situation the Lebanon has reached,” al-Rahi added.

with all my due respect to the position al rahi represent- just something about him makes me feel creepy. The christian need someone like Sfier's mantra to lead the way. We all know aoun is taking the cristians to a disaster by aligning himself with the forces of evil. Just beyond me what this guy is doing and what is also strange how some christians blindly follow him without questioning what he is doing or saying. Does this guy ever think before he opens his mouth? I doubt that he does... and that is the tragedy the christians are living now...
