Suleiman Demands Iranian Clarification over Remarks of Revolutionary Guard Presence in Lebanon

President Michel Suleiman held talks on Monday with the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Rokn-Abadi on recent statements that members of Iran's Revolutionary Guards are present in Lebanon.

He requested from the ambassador an official clarification from the Islamic republic over these remarks.

Rokn-Abadi meanwhile denied the Iranian claims.

On Sunday, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Mohammed Ali Jaafari had stated that members of the elite Quds Force were present in Lebanon and Syria where they are acting as “counselors.”

He denied that they are offering military assistance in either country.

"A number of Quds Force members are present in Lebanon and Syria... we provide (these countries) with counsel and advice, and transfer experience to them," Jaafari said during a press conference.

So, who's lying--the head of the revolutionary guards or the ambassador? My money is on the ambassador as diplomats are taught to lie.

The ambassador lies, the pertinent parts of jaafari's press conference were broadcast yesterday on local newscasts showing him clearly saying Lebanon and Syria. People can check for themselves.

Good job and while you are on it ask the m14 why they are smuggling terrorists and weapons to Syria via Lebanon? Also why US, UK, German and Italian embassy's has spies in Lebanon and about their smuggling operations of weapons and terrorists to Syria? While you are on it ask saad harriri whom from the Zionist entity he has been meeting with in KSA? :)

I, a 70% pro-March 8 citizen, am proud that our president is acting like one, regardless of the differences in our politics. I hope he continues like this and asks about the Syrian air strike today, as well as summoning other khaleeji ambassadors about illegal arms and money imports to the country in support of the Salafists in the North and Syria. If the President continues like this, keeping Lebanon clear from the troubles around, then he will have a new hardcore supporter.

Who says we want Quds forces in Lebanon? Did they ask the President if they could have them there? It is time to get rid of the Iranian and Syrian embassies.

Suleiman is doing a spectacular job for the country. I wonder if Iran, Syria and the Hezz have noticed that Hamas has pulled back from all three of them? That is where Quds is. What an irony.

Actually Iranian AL QODS Brigade is like Far3 Palestine in Syria. The only difference is the mobility of the former.

The filth is across the board happening since many years from financing Arafat or the Palestinians destroy our country to Sa3eka being trained and supported by Syria, to Hezb Iranian money, arms and Iranian trainers, as well as the Gulf money to every begger that fired back at them and are the cause of extremism.
