Captive Released on Ransom after Three-Day Abduction
Fadi Metri was released by his abductors on Sunday after being kidnapped on Friday, reported the National News Agency on Sunday.
It said that a ransom of 75,000 dollars was paid to the kidnappers.
A Baalbek patrol found Metri at around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday in the Drous region where the abductors had left him.
He was initially kidnapped in front of his Mansourieh residence on Friday.
A security source later told Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) on Sunday that the army arrested in the Bekaa region of Baalbek on Saturday an individual who confessed to taking part in Metri's abduction.
He confessed that the kidnapping took place with the participation of a number of gunmen.

Abductors should be placed under the jurisdiction of a special law, tried summarily and immediately executed in the place where they committed their crime.
