The Judicial Council completed on Friday the first round of interrogations of a number of Islamist detainees linked to Fatah al-Islam, reported the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat on Saturday.
It said that 21 Islamists, linked to the 2007 Nahr al-Bared clashes, were interrogated on Friday ahead of trials that are set to take place at a newly-constructed courtroom at Roumieh Prison.
A total of 86 Islamists are expected to be interrogated in the case.
Judges Joseph Samaha, Barakat Saad, and Anthony Issam al-Khoury have been tasked with conducting the interrogations.
The Islamists had been detained in Roumieh Prison without trial for years amid the anger of their families that have condemned their imprisonment.
They had frequently staged demonstrations demanding their trial and release.
The clashes in the Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared in northern Lebanon erupted between the army and Fatah al-Islam militants in May 2007 and ended in September of that year.
The fighting killed some 400 people, including 168 soldiers.

If we're to cut the political correctness.. where would that leave you. You seem like a murderer / terrorist!

good start, yalla this file has draged on too much. I propose to indict all those cheikhs in tripoli who incite for sectarian strife.

Racism is stupid. Racists have good safety and security, plus legitimacy, as museum displays, providing the curators keep the dust off and the rats and cockroaches away.
Now let's talk about their souls. God must provide them a way to see their errors and fully appreciate these.

They deserve no less. However morally I am against capital punishment.
