2 Teens Killed, 3 Injured in Sidon Car Crash

Two teenagers were killed and three others were wounded in a traffic accident at the entrance of the southern city of Sidon, the National News Agency reported on Sunday.
NNA sad Rayan al-Hadri, 18, and 19-year-old Mahmoud Baasiri died when their vehicle a Honda Civic hit a huge palm tree at Sidon's northern entrance.
Three other teens, 19-year-olds Jana al-Hadri and Shahir Shaalan, and 18-year-old Mohammed al-Kebesh were hospitalized.
Jana suffered severe injuries in the accident that happened overnight, NNA said.

I said poor palm tree. Does it imply I didn't think of these poor people? Human beings are selfish, even more in Lebanon where they disrespect nature. A tree a source of life, it creates oxygen, recycles our filthy air and some of them feed us. My thoughts are with both the unnamed tree and the families.

My sympathies to the families of the bereaved, what a shame to lose such young precious lives. But having said that doesn't mean that the problem will go, just let's look at how badly we drive in this country of ours, and even worse, how our youth drive. Many factors exist for that like the way driving licenses are dished out, how parents treat such matters with their kids, there are lots to be blamed for, not only the fact that so many of our youth drive truly insanely. Betweens, night racing and driving with total disregards to the safety of others are all matters that we need to tackle at the earliest, if we don't want to lose more people than all the wars against Israel combined. Then please, why focus on Andrew, he has his views, then let he who has no sin cast the first stone. For God's sake....!!!
