March 14: We Advise Berri to Employ His Talents to Help His Camp Form Cabinet

The March 14 General Secretariat condemned on Wednesday Speaker Nabih Berri’s recent criticism of the Cedar Revolution, noting that he is constantly confusing his role in his party with that of his role as parliament speaker.

It said in a statement after its weekly meeting: “We advise Berri to employ his talents in helping his camp form a government, instead of launching battles to compensate for its failure.”

Earlier this week, Berri had stated that the Cedar Revolution had set Lebanon back 60 years.

The General Secretariat slammed the speaker’s statement that the March 14 camp is searching for a new martyr in order to create strife in Lebanon, stressing that the assassination of a number of March 14 figures “led to Lebanon’s liberation from hegemony and paved the way for democracy and freedom.”

The March 14 forces also voiced their support for Internal Security Forces chief Maj. Gen. Ashraf Rifi, saying that his latest position “was aimed at defending state property from the greed of the statelets.”

“The ISF has demonstrated its resilience in withstanding the infiltration of armed militias that have spread throughout Lebanon,” the statement continued.

It condemned last week’s attack against the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, renewing its commitment to U.N. Security Council resolution 1701 and opposition to employing the South as a means to “deliver regional messages.”

“The ISF has demonstrated its resilience in withstanding the infiltration of armed militias that have spread throughout Lebanon,” ?

Actually, the ISF has created and supported a monster called Fatah Al Islam and then threw the problem on the Army costing it 200 young lives.

bigdigg, truly man you dig too hard for your words...try to dig less harder, maybe you would end up with something that makes more sense.
Giving a blind eye to everything else in Lebanon and just concentrating on attacking 14 march is not really the right way to bring peace and stability to Lebanon. we should not be biased...
