Hizbullah Slams EU's 'Aggression' on Resistance

Hizbullah officials have described the European Union's decision to blacklist the party's military wing as an “aggression” and a “terrorist act,” accusing it of being a bystander in Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammed Raad, said the EU's move against the resistance was a “terrorist act targeting the choices of the people and its commitments.”
The EU “hasn't only sent a political message but also an insult to each noble and free (person) in Lebanon and the Arab and Islamic world,” he said.
The 28 foreign ministers of the EU “expressed their terrorism in a gentle way” when they made the announcement on Monday, he said.
Raad added that the states that have put Hizbullah's military wing on the list of terrorist organizations will eventually “stand in line to improve their relations with Hizbullah.”
Another Hizbullah lawmaker, Nawaf al-Moussawi, said that the resistance “came under aggression” when the EU took such a move.
He accused it of standing idle when Lebanon was occupied by Israel and of not taking action to force the Jewish state into implementing U.N. Security Council resolutions.
“During the entire Israeli occupation of Lebanon, which hasn't ended, European states remained bystanders on its aggression against this nation,” al-Moussawi said.
“And now it is not providing real guarantees to the Lebanese to protect them from a possible Israeli attack,” he added.
Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has ridiculed the decision against his party, accusing the EU of capitulating to U.S. and Israeli pressures.
He also described the body's move as "worthless" and said it makes EU countries partners in any future Israeli aggression against Lebanon or his group.
"You will not achieve anything through this decision other than failure and disappointment," Nasrallah said.

raad lives in another world for sure. he is one of those that push for banishing alcohol consumption among other things. if he had it his way, we would be returned to the stone age!
raad has to realize that he cannot jump to defend his friend the terrorist samaha and get away with it.
raad has to realize that the whole world is now labeling hizbushaitan for what it is: a TERRORIST organization.
then again, he is such an extremist that he cannot realize that most of the Lebanese hate hizbushaitan, and this majority is the free Lebanese.

Unfortunately when Iran sends Weapons and Money to Hizbollah then the latter become slaves to any of their demands. The solution is a moderate ruler in Iran and Syria which they offer Weapons and Money to the Government of Lebanon at which point KSA will compete against this initiative and do the same thing. Funding militias and religious groups should be a crime with jail time as it destabilize the country.

Lets be truthful and call it as it is. Initially, the "Resistance" was most likely and arguably real and necessary, but the "Resistance" was hijacked by Iran for Iran's interests. One may also present the argument that from the beginning a noble "Resistance" was artificially created in order to give birth to present day Hezeb Allah and Iranian agenda from that initiall success and the support it created amongst the poeple.
