Opposition leaders met at the Center House on Tuesday night to discuss the upcoming stage following the expected release of the indictment by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, An Nahar daily reported.

The newspaper said on Wednesday that the March 14 leaders also discussed alleged efforts by the new cabinet to circumvent the indictment in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s assassination.

Their talks came hours after al-Mustaqbal bloc held its weekly meeting.

It said in a statement: “The officials should be wary of backing down from the consensus, especially regarding the STL, because it will harm ties between the various Lebanese factions.”

“Passed experiences have taught us the importance of maintaining consensus over the main foundations of the state,” it added.

The bloc’s sources told An Nahar that the statement came as a result of Premier Najib Miqati’s “ambiguous stances who hasn’t clearly stated his commitment to the tribunal given that the national dialogue had taken a decision on it.”

When you say March 14 leaders ! Who do you mean by that ? knowing that no one of them was attending that meeting ...!!!

Better to write , the opposition met at ... and not March 14 leaders //

Remind you that March 14 leaders were 4 ; 1 - Saad Hariri is in exile in Paris . 2 - Walid Jumblat has left them a long time ago , and is part of the new majority today . 3 - Amine Gemayel is out of March 14 ! Who is left ? Dr Samir Geagea !?! alone and by himself ..

So where are the March 14 leaders please ?

A French proverb says ; On ne peut pas être et avoir été !! So they bvelong to the past and can be called or classified as HAS BEEN .

The aftermath is the same as the beforemath: Hariri Mafia and its stooges will remain out of the government and will soon find themselves behind bars for all the crimes they have committed since Rafic funded the civil war (and therefore became a partner-in-crime) through the fleecing of the coffers, through collaborating with all of Lebanon's enemies (mainly Israel, and also Syria when it was appropriate) through the supporting, funding and training of Hariri's Al Qaeda - Akkar and Tripoli Brigades, and last but no least the fabrications of the false witnesses by none other than Hariri himself.
