Oscar-winner Kate Winslet, acting great Kenneth Branagh and the designer behind Kate Middleton's wedding dress were decorated by Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday in her birthday honors list.

"Titanic" star Winslet was made a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) in recognition for her services to drama, while Branagh becomes Sir Kenneth after being made a knight in the chivalry order.

Chris Brown, Girlfriend and Bodyguard Injured in Brawl

Singer Chris Brown, his girlfriend and his bodyguard were injured when a dance floor showdown with members of hip-hop star Drake's entourage turned into a bottle-hurling brawl earl Thursday at a nightclub, police said.

Brown tweeted a photo of himself with a cut chin, then later removed it, as well as other messages about the fight, including epithets and taunts. A representative later released a statement saying the singer and his girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, were victims of a "brutal attack."

Pop Star Prince's Request for Eiffel Tower Show Rejected

U.S. pop star Prince has been refused permission by the mayor of Paris for a concert under the Eiffel Tower on July 14 because it would clash with Bastille Day celebrations, a close aide said Wednesday.

Saudi King Asked to Lift Female Driving Ban

Hundreds of people have petitioned Saudi King Abdullah to allow women to get behind the wheel on the first anniversary of the Women2Drive campaign launched in June 2011.

The signatories, who numbered nearly 600 on Wednesday, are asking the king of the only country in the world that forbids women to drive to "encourage women who have obtained driving licenses from neighboring countries to begin driving whenever necessary."
