Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stated on Monday that Sunday’s Naksa Day clashes at the Golan Heights are further evidence of the American administration’s agenda to “steal Arab wealth.”

He said during the opening of a conference on Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: “Yesterday’s actions confirm Washington’s absolute commitment to Israel’s security.”

The coordination and follow-up committee of the Right to Return Campaign on Friday announced “the suspension of the popular march on the Lebanese-Palestinian border” previously scheduled for Sunday, calling instead for “a general strike in all (Palestinian refugee) camps across Lebanon” on that day.

Netanyahu's office issued the statement after Egyptian newspaper El-Mesryoon reported that a deal to free Shalit in exchange for 1,000 Palestinian prisoners would be completed within hours.

Fatah leader in Lebanon Munir Maqdah denied on Wednesday reports that the Fatah and Hamas Palestinian groups will not take part in the Naksa Day rally scheduled for June 5.

Speaker Nabih Berri on Sunday warned that “attempts by some people in Lebanon to settle political accounts with Syria represent a threat to Lebanon’s security and future.”

In a speech delivered by his representative, caretaker Health Minister Mohammed Jawad Khalife, at a ceremony in the southern town of al-Mseileh, Berri warned against “attempts to deviate attention in Lebanon towards the North instead of confronting the impending danger looming over Lebanon, Palestine and Syria due to Israel’s hostility on the southern front.”

Egypt will open the Rafah border crossing on a daily basis starting this weekend in a bid to ease the blockade on the Gaza Strip, the official MENA news agency reported on Wednesday.

Palestinians will now be able to travel through Rafah -- Gaza's only crossing that bypasses Israel -- under entry rules in place before the blockade was tightened in 2007.

He told the Central News Agency that preparations for the event are underway in cooperation with various Lebanese parties.

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee at the Israeli Knesset Shaul Mofaz described Hizbullah is an Iranian threat towards the entire region.

He told the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper that Iran threatens the region, especially the pragmatic Sunni Arab states, through its nuclear program.
