Several border towns in the northern Akkar district came late Tuesday under shelling from the Syrian side of the border, the state-run National News Agency reported.
NNA said Wednesday that the shells landed on the outskirts of al-Abboudiyeh, al-Noura and Wadi al-Hour.
The Abboudiyeh-Monjez highway was also hit with Syrian gunfire.
Both incidents did not cause any casualties, the agency said.
Lebanese border towns have continuously come under rocket attack and cross-border shelling, at times deadly.
