New Zealand's Scott Dixon earned his second victory of the IndyCar season on Saturday, a commanding win in a fast-paced race at the Texas Motor Speedway.
The Target Chip Ganassi team driver led 97 of the 248 laps to beat team-mate Tony Kanaan of Brazil by 7.8 seconds.
Brazilian Helio Castroneves, who has won four times on the 1.455-mile (2.34 km), high-banked oval, finished third.
There were 14 lead changes among nine drivers. The average speed of 191.94 mph was a track race record.
"Big credit to the team. We were struggling with the downforce early on but I'm over the moon," said Dixon, who notched his 37th IndyCar victory.
Dixon also won in Fort Worth in 2008, one of his six victories on the way to his second IndyCar series crown.
"One-two for the team, I'm happy," said Kanaan.
Standings leader Juan Pablo Montoya of Colombia increased his points advantage to 35 over Team Penske team-mate Will Power with a fourth-place finish.
Marco Andretti, who started 11th, placed fifth -- his third consecutive top five.
Power started from pole and led for seven laps but faded to a lowly 13th.
