Abou Faour Refers Assaulter of Government Employee to Prosecution
Health Minister Wael Abou Faour referred a Lebanese citizen to the Public Prosecution after assaulting an employee at the ministry, the state-run National News Agency reported on Friday.
“Abou Faour referred Afif Sharif Hammoud to the General Prosecution after assaulting a female employee in the department of hospitalization at the health ministry,” the ministry said in a statement.
“He used abusive language and insults against the ministry staff and uttered profane words ,” it added.
Abou Faour asked the Prosecutor to take the necessary measures against the man.
