Mahfoud: Hizbullah Seeks a President to Cover Up for its Military Activities
March 14 general-secretariat member Elie Mahfoud said on Saturday that Hizbullah is seeking to bring a president who provides coverage for its security activities inside and outside Lebanon, the National News Agency reported on Saturday.
“Hizbullah is seeking to bring a Maronite to the post of the presidency who guarantees the safe return of its militias from Syria and, covers its security and military activities in Lebanon and outside the border,” he told NNA.
“It is time for those who dived in the arms of Hizbullah to be aware of the seriousness of letting a militia tamper with the Republic's continuity,” he went on to say.
