Syrian Warplanes Bomb Nusra Posts on Lebanese-Syrian Border
Syrian fighter jets on Monday launched fresh strikes against posts for the jihadist group Fateh al-Sham Front, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, in areas on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
Several militant posts were destroyed in the raids, media reports said.
Other reports said the strikes on the outskirts of the Lebanese border town of Arsal followed fierce clashes between al-Nusra and the Islamist Syrian rebel group Ahrar al-Sham.
Similar strikes had targeted al-Nusra's posts in the region on Thursday.
