Airport Police Confiscate 11 kg of Cocaine
Police at the Rafik Hariri International Airport thwarted an attempt to smuggle 11 kg of cocaine, the National News Agency reported on Friday.
NNA said the culprits were two Turkish passengers coming from Brazil via Addis Ababa on board the Ethiopian Airlines.
They tried to conceal the drugs by wrapping them around their bodies, it added.
