Landmine Kills Man on Lebanese-Syrian Border
A landmine explosion killed a man identified as A.A. Thursday in an area on Lebanon’s northern border with Syria, the National News Agency said.
The blast took place in the al-Buqaiaa area near the stream of the Grand River.
The agency added that a Lebanese Red Cross ambulance transferred the body to the Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Qoubayyat as a Lebanese Army patrol arrived on the blast scene.
