Diplomatic Appointments to Be Complete by Next Week
Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has completed 86 of the diplomatic appointments, revealed As Safir newspaper on Saturday.
Political sources therefore predicted that all of the diplomatic appointments may be complete before the end of next week.
As Safir added that the minister has referred the 86 appointments to the civil service board.
Once all the appointments are complete, attention can be focused on appointments of ambassadors, which total 69.
These include filling 30 vacancies for prominent world capitals, said the newspaper.
It added that diplomats are being informed of their new positions.
Once these steps are complete, it continued, attention can be turned to the diplomatic promotions.
