EU Envoy, Miqati Hold 'Constructive, Action-Oriented Meeting'
European Union Ambassador to Lebanon Ralph Tarraf on Tuesday held a meeting with Prime Minister Najib Miqati.
In a tweet after the talks, Tarraf said the meeting was "constructive and action-oriented."
"We agreed on the urgency of initiating economic & governance reforms, engaging with the IMF, and preparing for the 2022 elections," he added.
"I reiterated to the PM the EU’s commitment to continue to support Lebanon," Tarraf went on to say.
