Reaching a new truce deal between Lebanon and Israel has become imminent, unnamed sources told Al-Arabiya's Al-Hadath channel.
"Direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel are not ruled out," the sources said, adding that "the negotiations will involve removing Hezbollah's arms in return for a truce."
"The agreement will have an impact related to the five hills (occupied by Israel) and reconstruction," the sources added, noting that the negotiations will take place through military channels.
The sources also warned that Lebanon's rejection of "the negotiations package" befor the year's end would put it in the face of "major military and financial pressure."
