Eight killed in Lebanon, Hezbollah retaliates with rocket salvo on Israeli bases

Hezbollah targeted Thursday Israeli bases in the Galilee Panhandle and in the Kfarshouba Heights, as Israel struck several villages in south Lebanon including Toul, Maarakeh, Touline, Zawtar, Kfar Remman, Habboush, Kfar Tebnit, Arnoun, al-Kfour, Harouf, Kounine and Loueizeh.

The Iran-backed group said it targeted military bases in the Galilee Panhandle with a salvo of rockets, and later claimed an attack on the Israeli Rweissat al-Alam base in the Kfarshouba Heights.

At least eight people were killed in Lebanon late Wednesday into Thursday according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry and the state news agency.

UNIFIL said 210 missiles were launched Thursday from Lebanon toward Israel.

Hezbollah later targeted the Israeli Rafael military-industrial facility south of Akka and an Israeli force that was advancing from the Manara military post to the Lebanese town of Markaba to establish a position there.
