Hezbollah fired 200 projectiles over the weekend at Israel
Hezbollah fired around 200 projectiles at Israel and its troops over the weekend, an Israeli military official said.
"Over the weekend, Hezbollah launched approximately 200 projectiles toward the State of Israel and IDF troops, in a clear and ongoing violation of the ceasefire understandings," the official said, in a statement to AFP.
Fighting between Israeli forces and Hezbollah has continued even as Lebanese and Israeli envoys agreed on Friday to extend a ceasefire by another 45 days.
Israeli attacks since the start of the war have killed more than 2,900 people in Lebanon, including more than 400 since the truce began on April 17, according to Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli military says it has lost 20 soldiers and one civilian contractor in southern Lebanon since the war began.
